This intensive five-day course on understanding and developing protein purification strategies provides training in theory and practical laboratory skills to members of the biotech industry and academic community. Participants will be trained in the principles and the challenges of developing strategies for separating and purifying proteins, recombinant DNA products and monoclonal antibodies. Hands-on laboratory practicals include product capture, membrane filtration methods, multiple chromatographic techniques and column packing. The training course utilizes state-of-the-art AKTA explorer platforms driven by UNICORN System Control software. The practical sessions allow participants to integrate theory with practice to perform purification of relevant biotechnology products. Formal training certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course.
