Intel gift allows genome browser improvements
We thank Intel Corporation for an unrestricted gift of $150,000 made in 2003 to support the work of David Haussler. Haussler’s team has used the gift to improve its computational power by building a test cluster for increased file input and output, speed distribution to computing nodes, and job scheduling capacity.
